Since “COVID-19”, we have adjusted our hygiene and safety standards and developed a comprehensive hygiene-concept under consideration of all local, professional and federal guidelines and is implemented by our skilled staff.

Arrival

If COVID-19 symptoms appear prior to your planned hotel visit, contact your doctor immediately and refrain from traveling.

General Info

The entire City Hotel Ost am Kö is carefully cleaned for you at shorter cleaning intervals and contact points such as handrails, elevator and light switches, surfaces are disinfected ever day.

Hand sanitizers are also available throughout the hotel.All public areas are regularly aired.

Breakfast at the Restaurant

Even if our breakfast area is quite spacious and offers a lot of room (2,000 sq feet, 180 square meters) we are limiting the volume of guests for the upcoming time. We will also enforce the 5 feet (1.5 meters) safety distance and the extra wide pathways for distance and the extra wide pathways for your safety. We are extending our breakfast hours to 11:30am to ease the flow and eliminate long waits.

Disinfectants are available at the breakfast entrance and at the buffet.

Our guests are placed by us.

Wearing a mouth and nose protector is up to your own sense of well-being.

Staff

Our highly responsible staff have been always keeped up to date on the newest regulations and guidelines put forward through our professional Hotel Association.
It was recently updated to include the essential training on hygiene measures, just as how to use a mouth- and nose mask and gloves, how to properly wash your hands and other disinfection and sanitation actions in the Hotel. We have an internal hygiene-playbook with general behavior codex and hygiene rules.

We are regularly being audited by our external work safety- and hygiene representative.

Rooms

Our guest rooms are being cleaned under strict requirements and all surfaces, storage, switches and knobs are cleaned thoroughly.
The cleaning process takes place with open windows and is being checked, in accordance to the process, from the head housekeeper.

Please keep in mind that the room cleaning takes place between 09:00am to 02:00pm.

We would also encourage you to open the windows and let fresh air into your room regularly.
